The short answers

Questions worth asking.

Clear expectations matter when your team is working with candidate data and AI-assisted search. Here is how Workskie works.

What is Workskie?

Workskie is a shared recruiting workspace that turns resumes, applications, and job descriptions into organized candidate profiles and evidence-backed search results. It helps teams find and review people they already know.

How does Workskie work?

Start by bringing in your recruiting context: upload resumes, connect an Outlook inbox, or publish a job application page. Workskie prepares a private review preview, extracts structured candidate details, and keeps the original source attached. After a recruiter confirms the profile, your team can search it against a job, inspect the evidence behind the ranking, associate the candidate with jobs, and follow the full activity timeline.

Does Workskie make hiring decisions for us?

No. It is decision support, not automated hiring. AI helps parse, retrieve, rank, and explain matches, while recruiters and hiring managers review the evidence and make every employment-impacting decision.

What happens when I upload a resume?

The resume is parsed into a private review preview. You can inspect and edit the extracted details before confirming the candidate. Nothing becomes part of the shared candidate database until a recruiter confirms it.

Can I keep the original resume and its evidence?

Yes. Source files remain attached to the candidate profile, and extracted facts retain their source context so your team can revisit the original material when a detail needs checking.

Who can see our organization's data?

Access is organization-scoped. Only authenticated users who belong to your organization can access its jobs, candidates, searches, and activity. Admins manage users and roles.

Can candidates apply directly to a job?

Yes. Every published job can have a public application page. Applications enter recruiter review first, and the candidate is added to the shared database only after confirmation.

Can I connect Outlook to bring in resumes?

If Outlook import is enabled for your organization, you can connect a mailbox with read-only access, filter attachment results, and manually choose which resumes to prepare for review. Automatic sync is also available when enabled by your team.

How do I get access?

Ask a Workskie administrator to invite you with the right role. Once invited, you can sign in with the Microsoft account linked to your user profile.
